User Interface and Experience
The Spoken Word is a structured, cohort based master class designed to equip beginners with the foundational knowledge, skills and confidence to speak effectively in public. The programme is built on the conviction that public speaking is not a talent reserved for a gifted few, but a learnable discipline developed through practice, guidance and feedback.
Designed for beginners and early stage speakers including university students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, aspiring broadcasters, early career politicians, civic activists, pastors, teachers and community leaders.
Participants learn how to structure speeches, manage stage fright, use voice and body effectively, speak with confidence, handle questions under pressure, and deliver a polished 5 to 7 minute speech before an audience.
The curriculum moves from finding your voice and understanding speech structure through to storytelling, speaking for camera and microphone, persuasive speaking, handling pressure, and a final public showcase.
Each cohort combines Saturday in person sessions in Accra, Wednesday virtual coaching clinics, daily voice practice, peer accountability groups, and a private online learning community.
Participants learn from a rotating panel of experienced practitioners including broadcasters, speechwriters, lawyers, political communicators, performance coaches, pastors, teachers and corporate leaders.
The programme combines tuition, early bird discounts, corporate sponsorship and need based scholarships, with at least 20 percent of each cohort reserved for scholarship support.
